You're finally here. The breeze is warm, your shoes are optional, and your body’s asking for something—stretch? Strength? Stillness?
If you’re wondering whether to try yoga or Pilates while you’re in Bonaire, I’ve got you. I teach both, and I love both, but they offer different gifts depending on what you need.
Let’s break it down in plain language, like I would if you asked me in person at the studio.
Yoga: The Breath + the Unwinding
Yoga is your best friend when you want to land in your body again. It’s not about touching your toes or being bendy. It’s about showing up as you are and giving yourself some space to breathe, stretch, and maybe even feel something shift.
Yoga might be right for you if:
Your body feels tight from the plane or all the diving
You’ve been moving fast and want to slow way down
You crave peace, grounding, or a moment to check in
You’re open to a more fluid, intuitive movement style
Sometimes we sweat, sometimes we barely move. Both are yoga.
Pilates: The Deep Strengthener
Pilates is more precise. You’ll move slowly, but you’ll feel everything. It's all about core stability, alignment, and subtle strength—like the kind that helps you stand taller or move without pain.
Pilates might be your thing if:
You want to strengthen and tone without jumping around
Your posture needs a little love after travel or desk work
You like structure and clear guidance
You want to support your yoga or active lifestyle with stability
I’ve had students who came for yoga and left loving Pilates, and vice versa. There’s no wrong door.
Can I Be Honest? Try Both.
That’s what I’d tell you if we were chatting after class. Try one. Try the other. Let your body decide.
Some days call for softness. Others ask for strength. The best part? You’re allowed to want both.
You can view the schedule here, or message me if you’re not sure where to start.
Come by—I’ll make sure you feel welcome, even if you’ve never rolled out a mat before.
